It turned out to be my favourite gig so far - a fabulous packed audience, about 16,000 strong. And I really felt that finally all the elements of our touring company hit a peak level - the crew delivered the whole huge set, lights and sound in record time, and were spot-on working the equipment during the gig. Paul was back to full strength after his skirmish with the Bad Throat Fairy, and the whole band KICKED ASS ! I say this without reservation, or false modesty, or fear of overstatement - I know when we are ON IT, and when we're not. etc etc
